Home Affordability
Homeownership promotes the general welfare of citizens and is one of the greatest motivators to create productive citizens and a sense of community. Excessive regulations make homes less affordable and put homeownership out of the reach of many potential homebuyers.

CTHBA POLICIES

The Charleston Trident Home Builders Association (CTHBA) desires to change the attitude from one where growth is feared to one where growth is embraced.  Our vision is to grow in a manner that improves the quality of life for all citizens in the metro area, including those yet to be born or move here.

We live in unprecedented economic good times, which make achieving this vision imminently possible.  The CTHBA intends to build communities by promoting a growth philosophy embodying the principles of choice, balance, and stewardship. Through this endeavor, we intend to inspire others from across the political spectrum and throughout the Tri-county’s urban and rural areas to work together toward innovative solutions that will guide growth as a positive contributor to the quality of life for our region.

The CTHBA involves building communities through the principles of Choice, Balance, and Stewardship.
