The Dorchester County Council has voted twice on the Adequate Public Facilities Ordinance without accepting comment from the public or conducting a full and complete study of its impact.

Some Councilmen haven’t even had an opportunity
to read the ordinance.

On Monday, July 23rd, the Charleston Trident Home Builders Association brought in Land Planning Expert, Ed Tombari from NAHB. Mr. Tombari explained the downfalls of an APFO to Dorchester County Council, Summerville Town Council and our members.

This attack on open government has been led by councilmen Willie Davis and Kenny Waggoner. Please call councilmen Davis at (843) 563-2739 and Waggoner at 200-6934 and tell them to vote no on this bad ordinance. Tell them to focus on affordable housing, cutting property taxes, and creating jobs.
